When You Are Too Tired

the mind does not complain
if the socks and the shoes are still stuck
your toes without air keeps on breathing
in the darkness of your
early dreams

sleeps takes you with your clothes on
someone beside you
keeps company and in the middle of your
conversation
you do not remember if a kiss is planted
on your forehead or your hair
or your neck

or was it on your lips?
your eyes close
you do not mind if the lights are still waking
