They Tell Us About The Triumph Of Light

they tell us about light's conquest
over a dark night
when dawn breaks into
a full day,

there is hope they say
for every bud that blooms into a flower
for every cocoon that turns
into a butterfly

sometimes honestly i think that
these are but stories
told by a fool.
