They Always Ask...

someone yet have to ask
why young man do you talk and talk and talk?

the years weigh heavy on our shoulders
like ploughs and steel balls and iron chains

we grow old and wrinkles grow like
onions in a row

someone yet have to ask again
why all these deep silence for all those years?
