The Angel Of Death

and then the angel of death
flies and stops
beside her, and she who was
prepared with what to say
didn't say much,
she smiled,
raised her hand
to hold his,
as though to welcome her
in an embrace
and she did embrace her
yet how can we not see
what joy she had seen
that moment

and then she closed
her eyes
into an infinite
bliss.
