Szymborska's Getting To Know You

Get to know
other worlds,
if only for
comparison.

I am near,
too near for him
to dream
of me.'

try another word
to describe an
old experience

try another world
to destroy the
old world that
destroyed you

try another fence
jump over another
field greener to
your eyes and
dream with me

try keep on trying
let things go
let things be
let us belong
