Snorkling

as she drops her body
to a clear sea water

on refracted weeds
and blue and silver fish

as she takes into her mouth
the breathing apparatus

he looks at her with so much pity
i know there is no more love

he could have let her go to the depths of death
but we were there looking at him

we are not angry, we are indifferent
we snorkle to see beauty and not ugliness

we keep on breathing
we all want to be alive despite the storm.
