Old Feelings

time knows how
to keep them all
without creases
in an old cabinet

there is a season
for reminiscing
and you go back
to old places and
some faces

your sighs take you
back there
your trembling hands
once again shall
open the window of
the house

you take one of those
and hold them against
your chest and close
your eyes to kiss it

you face the mirror
and try fitting it again

you're too big for it now
and if you force fitting it
the buttons will snap
the cloth will be torn
