Nothing Is The Same

the night of love
last night
can never be the same
with another night
with you

a night of ecstasy
never copies itself
there is no replication
nothing is the same
all over again

so shall be we be
in this loving history
today is always another day
last night a memory

now is always the answer
for our longing & quiver
