Morning Walks

morning walks you spend alone
time squandered
without the sun fully shining

you see a gray horizon
feeling the limitless stretch
out there

shadows of trees
foggy mountains and

this sad bird still sleepy
on a branch of a tree

underneath the grasses wilt
and some unknown footsteps

you stop for a while to think
and then you keep on walking
