Loud Music

at night the confused neighborhood
turn on the loudest music in town
they think that everyone is lonely
and that all the lonely people have
thirsty ears
longing for the loudest music
till everything burst
and they become satisfied that this world is fair
they cannot sleep
and so must you, but i keep this peace
uninfluenced by any word of the town
a peace within
that can sleep even when the town is at war
against each other
even when this world crumples like a leaf
in the hands of
a child
without a mother.
