Looking At The Stars

on top of the roof
i lay my head and gaze at the stars

i feel so tiny.
in fact, tinier than each of them

the world travels and the space so wide
my arms are like twigs

i feel humbled and words accept
the fact of their uselessness

i feel this journey
alone and hoping that someday this must end

silently, onward to unexpected glory
whatever mystery is there, i must listen.
