Into A Place Where You Are Not Welcome

when you find yourself
in such a place
you imagine yourself
in the middle of the fire

the fire burns all day
you may not get charred
but you finally find your body
without nerves

you walk with them
and you feel that you have no more heart
that beats inside your
chest

why stay in that place for long?
inflicting death to the very pulse
of your arm
