Injustices

so many injustices have been committed
by minds that
do not know the real name of
charity

by hands that do not work
by those that neglect
what charity
asks

what generosity could have given
what we have denied
in the midst of our abundance

some hands beg but our eyes closed
our hands clenched

and we talk to our cell phones in louder modes
just to get rid of them

the sores of society
and then the wounds in our heart starts to pain
