If I Do Not Write

if i do not write
there will be no more meaning in my life

it is not a case of myself lesser than what you are
or you in the same manner

it's my nature

it's the way how the scorpion breaks its promise
never to bite the frog that shall take it to the other side of the big river

at the middle of the rage
the bite is done
now both must sink and die

there are stories and poems
shall i tell you that i am not in any of those that make you cry?

look, i am nobody.
put my name on the wall, write it, i will wait when you leave
for i shall erase it

listen, do you hear the sound of the wind leaving this room?
it was me, and you were never sensitive enough
to see the face of another departure
