Dusk Eats Me

despite these strong
walls,
or even destroying each
so i can have
a view of the whole
situation

in the candidness of
mature acceptance
stoic

unblinking
looking at an eye to
an eye

mirrors in every corner
of this room
where you cannot be sure
where in
particular i am
for a moment

each furniture here
seems to say
goodbye

one opens the cabinet
of polo shirts
and expensive suits

with a sigh
how can you ever wear these all
given the
shortest moment of your
life

one leaves them all
and one does not care for whom
shall all these nonsenses
then belong

till the next day
after dusk eats me.
