Covering For A Colleague

it is corrupting
and you do not like it
you want to tell the world
and yet since he is a colleague
who must have forgotten the rules of the game
you end up with a new resolution: tell him and cover the tracks

back to your office
you look at the mirror and contemplate
on the sharp fangs of your conscience: you see a snake biting its own tail.
