Bliss Remembered....

a rose
in a white porcelain vase
on top of
a glazed
wooden table
showered with
the early morning light
from the laced
window
while you were
still sleeping soundly
in bed

two yellow birds
chirp
on the sill
of the window

i am at
peace
beside you
