Bilateral Agreements

and so you let me read your poems
after so many nights when you made

them and finally finished all the lines
and i too shall take my hidden pieces

and read them secretly inside my mind
and i will tell you that your lines are as

perfect as mine and that yours deserve
to fly to the skies like mine which have

already perched upon a tree and looking
tired. All of them wanting to sleep and die.
