My Wrecked Dream

When I hovered
at the college,
with an empty purse,
She opened her coffers,
with a humble smile;
but placed me there
under heart arrest.
She spent for my
studies abroad.
A two years stint
to make a mint.
I came back home
to take her there.
But there is no
my silver moon!
Loss in trade has tossed
her family out
in the dead of night.
No links to gain access.
With a heavy heart
I am leaving.
Till I lend my hand
to mend the damage to her family,
no more peace and no more rest.
