Tut and Sigh

Your ice-cold eyes and plastic kisses
display your contempt for me.
I don’t know why I tolerate you,
you’re such a misery.

Your continual moans and groans
bring deafness to bear.
The Medusa I would rather face
despite her stony stare.

Enough’s enough, time has run out,
I’m off to watch paint dry.
This is far better than seeing you
and hearing your tut and sigh.
