I’m Sorry, But

I’ve found someone new who makes me happy
and she makes me feel better than I’ve ever felt before.
She told me that she wants to spend her life with me,
and that I’m the man she’s spent her life looking for.

She says that she has had many dreams about me
long before our fated paths had chance to meet.
Let’s face it our relationship has been going nowhere,
we haven’t the love that once caused our hearts to beat.

This new love of mine gives us both an opportunity
to begin new chapters in our life.
I know you’ll have no trouble finding the perfect partner
and perhaps you might even consider to be his wife.

This adorable new sharing caring woman in my life
says she will go to the ends of the Earth with me.
You wouldn’t even walk to the end of the road
if it meant you missing the soaps on TV.

So despite our laboured unhappy time together
I wish you the very best in all you do.
You can turn the TV sound back up now,
there’s nothing more I have to say to you.
