A Siren’s Game
Your eyes, your eyes
they hypnotise,
and provoke a fire
of burning desire.
Your deliberate sashay
has a disturbing way
of stirring my blood
like no other could.
You tempt and tease
with the greatest of ease
by licking your lips
and finger tips.
You shamelessly flirt
and lift your skirt,
and to further arouse
you unbutton your blouse.
Erotic whispers and actions
have their attractions,
but a woman of your beauty
shouldn’t do this to me.
Now don’t get me wrong
I appreciate your song,
but the song you sing
does not love bring.
You’re extremely well versed
and perfectly rehearsed,
but I’ve stood here before
at temptation’s door.
I can see where you’re going,
with your petticoat showing,
so don’t waste your time,
on a man who’s not blind.
