A Prophet, a President, a Dictator, and a King.

You may wonder why I’m admitting
that I’m not as I appear.
Well, to be honest I’m totally bored
with living my life here.

It’s seven years since my last change
and it’s time to move on.
Unfortunately when I vacate her body
her life would’ve long since gone.

I’ve forgotten where I originally come from
and who I really am,
but I’ve been around for far too long
to know I’m not the son of man.

I read accounts from religious books,
which I even helped to write
and I can’t honestly say they’re the truth,
but at the time they seemed alright.

I’ve been a prophet, a president,
a dictator, and a king,
but being what I am inside
is unlike any living thing.
