Bludgeon Me In Your Back And Forth Waves
In this room
where the light pours
incandescent energy,
your pealed shadows
are white carousers
dancing in whim
with flimsy vigor
I swam through space
fumbling for banisters,
for loose threads and
for our slivered affinity
its perfect imperfectness
marred by the denial of our
faults and its consequences
Your nimbus smile
hoisted in oblivion,
your frail stalwartness
unheeding to mendaciloquence,
and your vaporous hands
reaching out from
the caves of perdition
cicatrizing the devouring
mouth of our peccadilloes
The metronome stood still,
its sinewy resilience
was the estoque reaping
the canopies of my
shallow dream clouds
and light poured on,
its iridescence unwavering
like a hapless rain
If you'll look back
and turn away,
your viselike debauchery
will make a double take
to bludgeon me into
your back and forth waves
and its saline skin sinking
into my open cicatrix
Because the abundant wisps
of your phantoms
would not err to be
yielded back into life
so I swam into you,
sculling until I drown.
