A Binary Kill
I cleared my vision
Took aim
Your pervasive statuesque presence
Your skin reflecting from the blur;
Malignant
Intoxicating
So immaculate and sublime
I'll take it all in like alcohol
Feel it burn from my chest
And watch the vague uneasiness
Slither away from my tongue
I would spell out the words
That I always wanted to speak
And scream it with a violent lightning
Stinging and soldering from the inside
I will not resist the force of gravity
I surrender myself to this moment
Apprehensive:
Nervous and excited
Melancholic:
Blissful and sad
I will face it
Locked and loaded
This is my one shot kill
Miss my target or hit it
I pulled the trigger in the dead air.
