Something on your lipstick never kissed the groom
something on your nails
red polished shining
never scratched the surface
of his heart- his broken heart
something in your hair
dyed in hues of black
never floated down his spine
nothing on your silver flapper dress
ever undressed him dear
perhaps you should walk naked
singing
'something's wrong with the world today'
for something on your lipstick never kissed the groom
