Cloud bitten

beautiful bells
they echoed through the hills
to announce the joy
of the living mind

beautiful they called my name
beautiful the depth of spring
quenched the thirst of my eyes

beautiful the gift of a spirit
never fading out
my words it breathed

beautiful the rains it moved
my thoughts it bathed

cloud bitten nothing hurt
cloud bitten I merely dropped
dropped the first of my smiles
