Without Tasting It To Uncover Its Value

Critiques by those who seek to do it,
To empower themselves with a feeling...
Of an accomplishment they 'alone' possess.
Seems today...
Out of place, meaningless and so passé!
And yet make attempts to keep it in season.

Especially if one decides not to like a flavor,
Without tasting it to uncover its value.
But to do it with nothing else in their lives to do,
And with a choice made to remain in hiding...
They will go ahead and discreetly rate anyway.
Hoping the act of it satisfies a dysfunction.
