Unless The Audience Listening Disappears
Some beset by insecurities,
Find it convenient...
To implant them upon another's shoulders.
With an implication,
This relieves the doer of responsibility.
And/or connected guilt that may be felt.
Within them hidden is more venom!
Since finding my own peace of mind,
I notice this injustice from time to time.
And those with lowlife intentions,
Doing what they please...
Disregarding who may be affected,
By their wickedness and sleaze...
Defend themselves with additional absurdities,
To escape exposure.
I've known many demons like this.
Some with pretensions that excuses them,
From any involvement they've initiated.
To apologize later for 'mistakes' made.
And accuse those for not knowing they had been used...
By the misdeeds done.
Even though the ones afflicted,
Discover they had been the unwilling victims,
Of such deceited ploys.
The performance done by those revealed,
To have concealed their patheticness...
Annoys!
They would rather be forgiven for their acts of selfishness.
AGAIN!
And there is no end to this 'I'm okay the way I am' philosophy.
Unless the audience listening...
Suddenly disappears!
Or...
Cotton to fill the ears,
Has been issued.
However,
A quick exit...
Is far more cost effective.
