Something That Stays

I knew you would find something here for you.
I knew you enjoyed comfort.
And I like that too.
I knew you would enjoy
An atmosphere of peace.
I knew you would feel
Relaxed and at ease.
I knew you would find something here for you.
What we have discovered,
Only me and you knew...
The something that you wanted is me!
And all that you are
Is the something I've always wanted.
I knew you would find something here for you.
And I am hoping for us,
This is the something that stays!
