Sliding From Their Grasp

The wanton needs of those greedy,
Are no longer being addressed.
They wish to keep prioritized their lush lives...
Now sliding from their grasp.
And they know their hour has passed.

Those weakened by deceit...
Are now experiencing a relief,
That uplifts them.
And those nibbling on the last of their feast...
Can find no allegiance,
To uphold their grievances.
They know their days are over.

Hear them pleading.
Or leaping from towers high...
Trying to fly away,
From their soiled foundations.
