Represented

Popular although illiterate,
May gain one empathy votes.
But to declare someone like this,
Competent to lead?
Shows just how much,
A society driven by superficiality...
Can feel threatened and offended,
By one's intelligence.
And those of ignorance...
Rise to heights to become represented!
