Profits Made to Keep Us Deluded Are Less

Are you and I better off than we were yesterday?
I would say yes.
Since profits made to keep us deluded are less.
And we seem to be awakening,
To a higher consciousness.
Although there are many,
Who still can not bring themselves to confess...
Conflicts addressed with unrest,
Does nothing to increase one's feeling of happiness.
And yet...
They let regrets continue to linger.
