Penny Pinched

Visitations of subservience...
They adorn their Sunday best and await.
A colonialized attachment excites.
And they do not bite the hand,
That feeds them from a buffet...
Of accepted identities they obey.
As they try to remain good boys and girls,
All their lives.
With a pride dignitized and churched!
Where they peek and perch to point and gossip.
And pray their well-being is kept penny pinched,
From hand-me-downs!
