Of Thunderous Accolades

Moments of greatness,
Do not come and bestow themselves...
Upon the shoulders of those in waiting.

These moments of greatness are achieved,
By those unlikely to believe they are deserving.

They are not self serving types of people.
They are people of deeds!
Not folks perceiving themselves as great.
To adorn an ego to be pleased.

They feel themselves to be just common folks,
Who accomplish from depths of purpose.

Not those who are on the surface...
Anticipating to salivate acknowledgements shown,
While thrown in the center,
Of thunderous accolades!
