Not One Of Them Calls Me 'Daddy

What would be the point to make,
If I stated I did something well...
And could not provide the evidence?

That would be like,
Bragging about fathering a number of children...
And not one of them calls me 'Daddy'.

Or know that I exist.
Or care to know!
Since I am a non-entity in their lives.

And yet I talk about how proud I am!

But of what?
The nourishing that is ongoing?
Or the production end of it that takes a few minutes.
