No Way

There are no avenues to re-route.
None that are near or leading off...
In other directions from which to choose.
There is a No Way that has come to exist.
One absent and void of promises.

There are no coming attractions,
Given chances to produce sequels to be seen.
And there are no dances around the bushes,
With innocent glances...
To forgive,
After a hollering has been done with screams.
You can count on those familiar scenes...
To be over,
With no more of them to come.
When a No Way 'again' has been mentioned.

'No way',
Will there be another door left opened.
'No way',
Will a forgotten forgiveness again be given.
And there will be 'no way'...
Today, tomorrow or the next day that follows,
Will a heart broken and scarred from mending...
You will witness to start another round,
Of excuses found.

No way...
Tomorrow or the next day to follow,
A betrayal of trust you believe I should accept.
No way!
