No In Between Afforded Them
You want to hear fluff not stuffy,
You want to feel puffed up...
And not roughed at all.
But these days of truth...
Scratch with a screech,
Like chalk on a blackboard.
And the lesson being written,
Has those sitting wishing for intermission.
What is being taught,
May bring those listening to tears.
But the one who has it tough,
Is the one who tells it like it is!
And those in fits enforced to learn...
Realize their delusions are slowly being erased,
Whether they face it or not...
The tests given today are absent of options.
And cheaters of all kinds,
Have found themselves without hiding places!
Or anything 'or' anyone to substitute for their grief.
They either pass or they don't!
There is no in between afforded them!
And recess to reflect and regroup...
Is not part of their curriculum.
