Motivated Immediately

I like it when it is perceived of me,
I am reluctant to compete.
Although I am not one to solicit competitions,
I had been secretly chosen as the one to beat.

Perhaps it is in my appearance?
Or the way I was born to speak.
Who knows what goes on,
In the minds of those who choose to compete.

But when I am the one selected,
Something comes over me!
I am fulfilled and motivated immediately,
With such incredible energy.
