If What Is Observed Is Not Felt...Leave It!
When I was much younger,
I would rush to the aid of friends.
Believing I could protect and defend them.
No matter what they did or to whom,
What was said.
I was the kind to believe,
Those I knew sat on pedestals.
High and dry above scrutiny.
And could and would do no wrong.
Then I grew up.
No one can sell to another,
Integrity!
No one can groom anyone,
To speak with truth and honesty...
If the planting of the seed is not there.
And no one can teach,
Grown people hygiene.
Think about it!
Mama cats teach their kittens,
How to wash and stay clean very early.
It is rare to see a dirty 'cat'.
But when one is seen...
Something in that head 'aint' right!
When someone begins to strip away,
All that which is believed one had witnessed.
And discovers it has been a mirage?
It is time to snap out of that delusion and quick.
With a splitting away from it
The best remedy for an awakening?
Is this...
Do not condone what is shown,
If what is observed is not felt...
Leave it!
And do not grieve.
There is no need for explanations.
Nothing said will be understood.
