If It Wasn't What It Is

If it wasn't what it is...
You still wouldn't know it.
You still would react,
As if my heart is detached.
And I have never shown you that!

If it wasn't what it is...
It would still be overlooked.
It will still be taken forgranted...
Like the wisdom collected to produce,
Encyclopedia books.

If it wasn't what it is...
Would your eyes then dance upon me?
Would your smile light up and glow?
Or would you tell me to go?

If it wasn't what it is...
You still wouldn't know it.
You still would react,
As if my heart is detached.
And I have never shown you that!

All I have ever shown you is what it is.
It has always been love.
I am hoping one day you will recognize it!
I'm hoping that day comes to us soon!
