I Said Nothing Like That

I have made no references...
Sarcastic or not,
To any animated rodents...
With big mouse ears.

Or of them having more significance,
For many people...
Than the realities happening aound them,
Right in their own neighborhoods.

I said nothing like that!
So don't go around saying these things,
You are telling people that I said.
There are enough rumors going on around here as it is.
