I Like It

I like,
Those moments of life you live...
Shared with me.
Free to abandon the maddening crowds,
Loud and chaotic.
With a misguided compassion.
And reacting as if robotic.

I like it,
When it is just you and I...
And nothing else between us comes.
To load upon our hugs and touches,
With distractions of any kind.

I like,
It.
Yes I do.
When the two of us can leave behind,
The unnecessary where it is.
Outside to be left.
As we keep what we have inside,
Close and loving.
