I Can Take That Now

No matter if I am not
What was once there,
But now you say...
Has long been forgotten.

I have not dropped you,
From my heart...
Or out of sight and view.
I hope I will be forgiven.
To let each other live.
And become more positive.

No matter if I am not,
What was there...
When we both shared and cared.

There is none other,
I would dare to say I loved.
After all we have been through...
I guess I am due,
To get a taste of your bitter attitude.

I can take that now.
And understand.
