How It Has Been Depicted

That which can not be envisioned,
In a mind yet unable to see clearly...
A defending of that,
Which increases in limitation...
Becomes more depended upon,
To supply one with a needed relief.
With an attachment to that,
Which has been declared acceptable.
Until it no longer is comforting to do it.
Or a proving that deception is useless.

And a belief that has been inflicted,
Will always be defended.
And that is as natural...
As one being offended,
By that which is unknown.
Until the unknown becomes no longer feared.

And to fear that which is unfamiliar,
Is a process that continues to deform the 'norm'...
Of one's ability to see beyond a conformity,
That demands a following of perceptions.
Kept intact and respected as fact.
Although the effects of rejecting truth,
Can not be said to provide a wealth of mental health.
Or sustains a faith so great one chooses,
To stay and remain uninformed.
Not for what truth is but how it has been depicted.
