How I Learned To Get Up
I hope to never be seen a fool,
To stand in someone's way.
With a moving beyond my steps,
To declare their own success.
Or profess what I know,
What is ahead for them.
I am in no position to do that.
Although and I must say this,
If I do see opposition coming their way...
I will point that out.
And IF I have not achieved credibility,
To have their ears listening...
By all means why should I stand in the way,
Right?
If someone wants the experience,
Of feeling the sensation of being crushed...
Who am I to try to prevent that feeling?
That's how I learned to get up!
I am more than understanding,
That people have to acquire their own credibility.
However to them it comes.
Bumps bruises and an occasional embittered,
Quip.
As I age I seem to grow empathetic to it all.
