How Could I Forget?
The more I see you...
The more I realize,
Absence...
Does make the heart grow fonder.
The more I think of you.
And in my mind you appear,
Constantly...
When you are not near.
My appreciation,
For long distant relationships...
Has greater appeal.
And in my memory,
When your name is lost!
That's when I feel blessed to know,
How close we are to one another.
Just to know what we share together works,
Is worth...
Hearing the sound of your voice,
Now...
And especially then!
When we are reminiscing that we met!
'What 'day' was that, again? '
~You don't remember?
Shame on you!
That was the day we first kissed.~
'That's right.
How could I forget? '
~And...
Your name again?
I've been calling you, 'Baby' for so long.
Your real name escapes me.~
'Why you playin'? '
~Gotcha!
I just want to see if you're paying attention,
Baby.
That's all.~
*I bet we have a better clue as to who they are,
Than they do! *
**Just mind your business, Harold.
Can't you listen to them and tell,
They are young with other things on their minds...
Besides stale companionships.**
*Excuse me?
I know damn well you are not referring to us?
I said,
I know damn well...*
**I heard what you said.
I'm trying to hear what they're saying.
If you keep your mouth closed.**
