History of This Ship

They wish to see a broken ship,
Sinking with a huge hole in the side of it...
With a promise to keep it afloat,
By another commander...
Who replaced the last one,
Who was a joke.

They wish to see it sail...
As if it was brand new!
They wish to eat a feast and dance.
Without getting wet!
And doing that with magic too!
They wish all these things,
But nothing brings...
Back the fantasies or delusions,
They were taught...
By the flight of the abandoning crew,
Who screwed them!

'That new guy hasn't a clue of what he's doing!
He's trying to fix it like a brand new boat.
If we stick together...
We'll see that he doesn't by taking a vote!
Who is he to tell us what to do?
The history of this ship,
Our forefathers wrote! '
