Glued To Fractured Values

The same people who remain glued,
To fractured values that no longer to them soothe...
As they use to completely do,
Are also the very same people who would love to be convinced...
They have the power to put others on the defensive.
To prove to themselves that every belief they have kept,
Continues to make sense.
If only someone would aggressively step forward,
To admit they have no questions to leave them doubting...
About which beliefs to keep faithfully.
Among the few of those beliefs they have left.
