Given Without Ribbons And Bows

Why do you suppose,
They are not giving you the credit owed...
For your contributions made?
And your participation has been so obvious.

'Who knows what cold shoulders hold?
Maybe they are more familiar,
With the covering of their debits.
And my donations have been primarily stolen.'

Perhaps they resent the gifting of your 'presents'?

'Maybe you are right,
Since they were given without ribbons and bows.'
